The business community of Wangdue Phodrang shared concerns about high price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and yearly increase of Business Income Tax (BIT) to the Economic Affairs Minister, Lekey Dorji yesterday.
Minister Lekey Dorji assured the business people that after the introduction of non-subsidised LPG in the country, the shortage of cooking gas supply will be addressed.
Regarding the issue of BIT, the minister advised the people to maintain proper account of daily business transaction which will help while paying taxes. Lyonpo Lekey Dorji, also urged business members to come up with innovative business ideas to avoid competition.
