The miscellaneous hearing for eight suspects, alleged to have involved in a gang-rape of a minor, was held at Samtse District Court, on Friday.
The suspects were charged of raping a minor- a former student in one of the schools in Samtse. According to police’s investigation report, the incident took place at a marriage party in Khandothang Village under Samtse Gewog last year.
However, the case was reported to police eight months later when the girl became pregnant. The eight suspects include student, farmers, and public servants.
