Bhutan Kuen-Nyam Party (BKP) and Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) have revealed more candidates in the past few weeks.

Last week, BKP named Dr. Singyel Namgyel, a former civil servant in the education sector, as its candidate from Khar-Yurung Constituency in Pema Gatshel.

DPT, on its Facebook page, announced two former civil servants as their new candidates. Prem Kumar Khatiwara will represent the party from Lhamoi Dzingkha-Tashiding constituency in Dagana and KD Chamling from Phuentshogpelri-Samtse constituency in Samtse.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) announced three candidates during its convention last month and plans to reveal more.

Meanwhile, DruK Chirwang Tshogpa (DCT) says it will reveal candidates during the party convention. The date for the party convention is yet to be decided.

Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa (DNT) shared that it plans to reveal candidates only after the National Council (NC) election.
