An eye surgery camp in Yebilaptsa, Zhemgang has restored eyesight of more than 40 elderly people.
The five-day camp conducted eye check-ups, cataract and pterygium surgeries and provided treatments for several other eye diseases and problems.
More than two hundred people from across Zhemgang visited the camp.
The surgery camp was conducted by an eye specialist and senior ophthalmologist from the Gelegphu Central Regional Referral Hospital. It is conducted once every year.
