Team Phrumsengla National Park won the third Bumthang Open Veteran Football Tournament held in Chamkhar yesterday.
They defeated team RBP by 7-6 goals. Bumthang Sports Association organised the tournament. It is to keep ageing sports enthusiasts engaged in various sports activities. Only players aged 32 and above were allowed to participate in the tournament.
Khoma Lower Secondary School wins Intra-school Taekwondo tournament
Khoma Lower Secondary School in Lhuentse won this year’s Intra-school Taekwondo tournament. The competition was held yesterday. Autsho Central School bagged the first runners-up trophy while Lhuentse Higher Secondary School claimed the second runners-up title.
Around 174 participants from 17 different schools in Lhuentse participated in the tournament. It was an annual sports affair organised by Dzongkhag Taekwondo Association.
