Bhutan received one million Euros from the Austrian Development Agency in Thimphu yesterday.
This is in addition to three million Euros the European Union (EU) has committed in April this year. The fund will be used for improving procurement and budgetary systems, strengthening the delivery of public services and enhancing good governance in the country.
It will also contribute to the improvement of accountability and transparency of public financial management.
