The under-16 football team left for Iran today, to participate in the AFC under-16 Championship 2018 qualifiers.
Bhutan is placed in group C along with qualifiers host Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and Lebanon. Bhutan will play against Lebanon in their first match at the Enghelab Stadium on Saturday.
The 10 group winners and five best second-placed teams will advance to the final stage of the tournament.
The AFC U-16 Championship 2018 qualifiers will end September 24.
