Police in Thimphu have arrested 20 people, including three women, for drug related crimes. The arrests were made in the last two weeks.
Police have seized over 3,500 spasmo proxyvo capsules, 100 nitrosun tablets and more than 100 grams of cannabis from suspects.
10 of them have been handed over to the Bhutan Narcotics Control Authority for the rehabilitation.
The rest have been charged with illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and are still in police custody.
