Sangay Wangchuk from the Royal Bhutan Army won this years’ Bhutan Coronation Marathon in Paro yesterday.
He completed the 42-kilometre race in two hours and 50 minutes.
This is his second consecutive win.
Tshering Wangchuk came second completing the race five minutes later.
In the women’s category, Goma Pradhon completed the 21-kilometre race and came first followed by Chimi Dem.
Over 300 participants, mostly army personnel and students, took part in this years’ marathon organised by the Bhutan Olympic Committee.
