A 31-year-old taxi driver died on the spot after the taxi veered off the road and fell 90 metres at Wangsisina under Maedwang Gewog in Thimphu.
The taxi was heading towards Thimphu from Chhukha when the accident happened yesterday night.
According to the police, the deceased was alone and suspect speeding to have caused the accident.
