A 49-year-old man from Monggar was killed on the spot when the car he was travelling in went off the motorway, at Gangola in Monggar. The incident happened at around 10 in the morning, yesterday.
Four other people including the driver were admitted to the Monggar Regional Hopsital. Deceased’s body was handed over to his family.
Police in Monggar said travelling at an excessive speed could have led to the accident. However, they said confirmation can be made only after investigation is complete.
