Bhutan will be Japan’s priority: JICA President

Bhutan will be Japan’s priority- JICA PresidentThe President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, Shinichi Kitaoka, said Bhutan will be among Japan’s top priorities.“This is really a special relationship which exists between our two countries which cannot be compared to other countries,” said the President during his visit to the Agriculture Machinery Centre in Paro, today.

“International cooperation cannot be successful without cooperation from both sides. We are also grateful to your cooperation because unless we have strong and warm cooperation from your side, we cannot have any success.”

The President said now that there is economic growth in Bhutan, their schemes will have to be changed as well.
This is Shinichi Kitaoka’s first visit to Bhutan after assuming the post in October.

Shinichi Kitaoka left the country today after completing his four-day visit.
