Team Zimdra is the winner of this year’s Thimphu Open Veteran Football Tournament. The final match was played between team Zimdra and team Royal Bhutan Police at the Changlimithang football stadium, yesterday.
Team Zimdra defeated Royal Bhutan Police by a goal, which was scored after second half of the match.
The winning team was awarded a cash prize of Nu. 10,000 while the runners-up were given Nu. 5,000. Both teams were also awarded trophies and medals.
Nine teams participated in the tournament organised by Bhutan Football Federation.
