Nepal’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Mahendra Bahadur Pandey, called on the Acting Prime Minister, Lyonpo Damcho Dorji, at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang, yesterday.
Mr. Pandey is in Bhutan to extend invitation as special envoy of the Prime Minister of Nepal for the 18th SAARC Summit and its preceding meetings, which is scheduled to be held from November 22-27 November in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Lyonpo said under the Chairmanship of Government of Nepal, SAARC would be able to witness transformation towards realising the aims and objectives for which it was founded.
Nepal hosted the third SAARC Summit in 1987 and 11th summit in 2002.
