His Holiness Je Khenpo is presiding over a week-long Meolam Chhenmo which began in Paro, this morning.
Hundreds of devotees are attending the ceremony. Over 300 monks, along with the Lam Neten of Paro are also present.
The prayers are expected to bring peace and prosperity in the world, and is also for the well-being of all sentient beings.
The Meolam chhenmo ends on Saturday.
His Holiness will also administer Tshewang or blessing for long life on the last day.
