The works and human settlement minister, Dorji Choden, attended the golden jubilee of Kangpara Lower Secondary School in Trashigang on Friday. She is an alumnus of the school. Kangpara School was started in 1961, informally, with Lyonpo Dorji Choden’s father as the Chhoekey and Dzongkha teacher. It was formally established in 1964. The Trashigang Dzongda, Dungpa, Drangpon and other alumni also attended the event.
