(Update): Over a hundred concerned parents and residents of Dokar Gewog in Paro met with the school authority, following an alleged molestation of a female student, who is a minor.
The nine-year-old minor was allegedly molested by the school cook.
The parents say the meeting was to question the school authority’s stand to remain silent about the incident.

The meeting was held yesterday and it went on for five hours.
The school Tshogpa, Ugyen, said this is not the first case of them not being informed. He said similar incidents have happened before.
The school had no comments.
The Women and Child Protection Unit under Paro Police is investigating the case. The accused is under police custody.
