The Bhutan Film Association for the first time is organising a Viewer’s Choice Awards.

Unlike the past tradition of judges choosing winners, the film award will be different this time. The winners Viewer’s Choice Awards will be chosen by the public.
A film each will be screened every evening, during the weeklong festival, which began on Monday.
The final award will be held coinciding with the Birth Anniversary His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo on the November 11.
