As an important step towards National Council’s 12th session resolution follow up, the National Council had sent a set of resolutions to the government and concerned agencies. However, a few ministries did not respond at all and some that did, only had brief responses. The Wangdue Phodrang NC MP, Tashi Dorji, said a few ministries did send comprehensive answers.

The issue was raised during the National Council session, today. They said without the required information at hand, they will not be able to carry forth the discussion.
The National Council’s Chairperson, Dr. Sonam Kinga, said there is a need for more support from the government.
