(Update): One more body of a missing passenger aboard the boat that capsized in Mangdechhu was discovered in Assam, yesterday, taking the death toll to seven.
The deceased is a father of two.
The body was recovered from a place called Bansari, about 35 kilometres from the border area of Panbang. The postmortem of the body was conducted at Barpeta Medical College. The body has been handed over to Bhutan’s counterpart. It will be cremated in Zhemgang this afternoon.
Meanwhile, search for five missing passengers continues for the fifth day today.
