His Holiness the Je Khenpo consecrated the Ka-Goen Lhakhang in Gasa Tashi Thongmen Dzong, yesterday. The Lhakhang was renovated after the fire in 2008. An extensive repair of the dzong was carried out after the fire incident.
The Lhakhang was constructed with a total cost of about Nu.16 million through the RGoB fund.
After the consecration, His Holiness also administered Tshewang or blessings to the people.
This is the first time His Holiness the Je Khenpo is visiting Gasa Dzongkhag.
