A Global Action Week is being observed in Wamrong Lower Secondary School to raise awareness on importance of education for all. Global Action week is an annual worldwide campaign organized by the Global Campaign for Education. Wamrong Lower Secondary was chosen to observe the global week for the eastern Dzongkhags. The theme this year for the Global Action week is Education and Disability. The UNESCO club members of the school will conduct a research to fin dour the status of disability in the communities near the school. Posters and essay competitions will also be held among the students.
