The Managing Director of the LGT Venture Philanthropy (LGT VP), Wolfgang Hafenmayer, and the Co-Head of Asia Pacific, Raya Papp, called on Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang today.
They were accompanied by the founder of The King’s Challenge, Michael E. Barth, during their meeting with Lyonchhen.
Lyonchhen and Hafenmayer communicated on issues such as enhancing renewable energy resource use, improving agricultural productivity, commercializing farms, producing and marketing organic farm produce through international niche markets, promoting electric vehicles, telemedicine and making high-end tourism a sustainable business in Bhutan among others.
Lyonchhen asserted that no area is either too big or too small to collaborate and work together.
Lyonchhen also inquired about the possibilities of developing indigenous electric vehicles in partnership with global electric car manufacturers and setting up data centres in Bhutan.
