On Sunday, the Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay, was in Samtse to sign the dzongkhag’s performance agreement with Samtse Dzongdag, Karma Weezir. The agreement was signed next morning at the Samtse Dzongkhag Administration Office.
At the signing, Lyonchhen informed the dzongkhag officials, civil servants, corporate employees and LG officials about the recently introduced Government Performance and Management System (GPMS).
Lyonchhen stated that GPMS will assist and provide people information and tools to assess the performance of the government and therefore ensure effective performance.
The Prime Minister said that the government will commit to provide the necessary fund and resources for efficient delivery of results described in the annual performance agreement.
