Python rescued from SJ town

IndianPython-SJA python measuring over a metre long was rescued from the middle of Samdrup Jongkhar town, yesterday evening. Forestry officials said the specie is known as Indian python and it is usually three-metre long.

The python was found inside a drain near a hotel. Officials said it must have come looking for food. The specie is limited to south Asia.
