About 35 health officials from the six eastern dzongkhags have completed a two-day training in malaria case management.The training held in Samdrup Jongkhar is expected to help health officials in fighting the vector-borne disease. The workshop especially looked at the treatment of malaria in children and pregnant women, national malaria treatment protocol and malaria control.
