Students who fail classes 10 and 12 will be allowed to repeat in the same government school starting 2014. The government has decided this keeping in mind students who are unable to continue their studies due to economic reasons after failing to qualify for government schools.
The students, however, must repeat in the same school, have minimum 90% attendance in last academic year, no adverse records, and should not have failed in classes 9 and 11.
This is a move promised in the PDP Government’s manifesto.
