First SABAH meeting held in Thimphu

SABAHThe SAARC Business Association of Home Based Workers (SABAH) in Bhutan is holding its first annual meeting in the capital. At least 140 stakeholders from across the country are attending the four day meeting.

The meeting aims to provide members a platform for sharing experiences. Members were also brief on membership guidelines and capacity buildings. Production guidelines and specifications, and wages for various products were also shared.

SABAH Bhutan has more than 218 home based workers across the country in eight clusters operating as weaving, tailoring, agro and organic groups.
