Auto-stripping crimes in Phuentshogling are said to have decreased this year. About 37 auto-stripping cases were reported last year and 25 cases have been reported so far this year.
The Phuentshogling police still want to bring down the numbers and have begun an awareness programme on such crimes. As part of the programme, the Police are distributing pamphlets on vehicle safety to vehicle-owners and drivers.
