A 43-year-old man from Monggar and a 12 year-old boy from Thrimshing in Trashigang were washed away by the Ngae-ra Ama-chu on Saturday night. The 43-year-old was a farmer and is survived by his wife while the 12-year-old boy was a student of Non Formal Education in Thrimshing.
The Police found a thread of fishing net in the hand of the victims. They are still investigating the cause of the accident.
