Some 76 musicians, singers and stage-performers from University of Texas at El Paso in the US, Canada, Italy, and Australia are in the capital to perform Opera, a western classical music tradition on Saturday. They are in the capital rehearsing for the big day.
The artists will perform on various theme including love and jealousy. Death and reincarnation will be incorporated in the opera so that Bhutanese audience can relate to it as well.
Artists from Royal Academy of Performing Arts will also perform opera together with the performers from abroad.
