Forestry officials have confirmed that a bear has been making rounds in Pemayoedling village under Serzhong gewog in Sarpang. The villagers say they fear for their lives and that of their animals and poultry. Requisition for a tranquilizer has been put to the Wildlife Conservation Division in Thimphu to sedate the bear.
