The 10th Session of the National Assembly concluded with the ratification of resolutions, today.
During the two-week session, the house deliberated and adopted the Road Bill, the Domestic Violence Prevention Bill, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Bill and the Contract Bill of Bhutan 2012.
The house also endorsed the membership for the Inter-Parliamentary Union. The SAARC Agreement on Rapid Response to Natural Disaster, and the SAARC Agreement on the Implementation of Regional Standards were ratified.
The National Assembly also ratified the SAARC Agreement on Multilateral Arrangement on Recognition of Conformity Assessment.
The annual audit report was presented in the house as well.
The Prime Minster also presented the State of the Nation report.
The closing ceremony of the first parliament will be held, tomorrow.
