Close to 700 youth turned up for the briefing held for the training and employment in Thimphu Tech Park. Of the 700, 241 were university graduates.
There are only 200 slots.
The labour ministry and Shaun Communication Bhutan Private Limited signed a MoU earlier this week to work together to train and employ 200 Bhutanese youth in Thimphu Tech Park on BPO processes.
The Labour officials said the focus of yesterday’s briefing was to make clear certain terms and conditions that the recruits have to abide by.
