Bhutan’s Under-14 girls’ football team will compete in the Asia Football Confederation Under-14 Girls Regional Championship to be held in Sri Lanka. This is the second time the team is participating in the Championship.
The U-14 girls’ football team comprises of students who were selected from the winter coaching camp held in Phuentsholing from January 1_26.
The team has been undergoing rigorous training sessions at the Changlimithang football ground.
The Championship begins on March 5 and ends on the March 10. Six countries from South and Central Asia are participating in the Championship.
Bhutan will play her first match against the host country, Sri Lanka on March 5. The team leaves the country, this Sunday.
