Yeedzin is the winner of the first-ever Coca Cola Bhutan National League. The Club has won a cash prize of four hundred thousand ngultrum, and a rolling trophy.
The first runner-up Drukpol received a cash prize of two hundred thousand ngultrum, and the second runner-up, Ugyen Academy, one hundred thousand ngultrum.
In the final match of the league played at the Changlimithang football ground today, Yeedzin defeated Drukpol, by two goals to one.
Yeedzin will now participate in the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) President’s Cup to be held, this year. The venue has not been decided yet.
A total of six clubs participated in League, this year. The next season begins this May.
