The Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa officially announced eight more candidates, today. With this, the Party now has 24 candidates confirmed for the general elections.
The Party, at a press conference, said they have 40 candidates confirmed to date. Names, however, remain to be announced officially.
The new candidates revealed are Rinchen Namgyal from Athang-Thedtsho constituency in Wangduephodrang, Chhatra Man Chhetri from Patalay-Tsirangtoe constituency in Tsirang, Jigme Dorji from Dremitse-Ngatsang constituency in Monggar, Prakash Sharma from Lhamoy Zingkha-Trashiding in Dagana, Sonam Dendup from Menbi-Tshenkar constituency in Lhuentse, Tshewang Dorji from Khamdang-Ramjar constituency in Trashiyangtse, Wangdi Gyaltshen from Deothang-Gomdar constituency in Samdrup Jongkhar, and J B Rai from Phuentsholing constituency in Chhukha.
