The Labour Minister, Dorji Wangdi, was awarded a highly prestigious award of the HRD Congress called the ‘Global Visionary Leadership Award’ in Mumbai, India, last week.
Lyonpo was the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker at the culminating ‘Glittering Awarding Ceremony’ of the world HRD Congress held from 15 to 17 February in Mumbai.
Lyonpo spoke on “Redefining the Principles of Best Practice in Labour Administration in the New Age”.
A press release from the ministry states that the highlight of the speech was the introduction of ‘7 L Principles’ for the first time. The 7 Ls are life, livelihood, leisure, lenity, longevity, liberty and life-long learning.
The three-day Congress was attended by over 500 CEOs and Human Resources leaders and professionals from around 140 countries.
