Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa introduces eight more candidates

Droji-Choden--Druk-Nyam-rup-TshogpaDruk Nyamrup Tshogpa introduced eight more candidates, including their first female candidate. Dorji Choden, 53, will contest from Thrimshing-Kangpara Constituency in Trashigang. She is Bhutan’s first woman engineer and has served the government for more than 20 years.

In a press conference today, DNT said they have 40 confirmed candidates, and the rest of the candidates will be introduced at a later date.

Kamal Dan Chamling, 44, will be contesting from Pugli-Samtse constituency and  Karma Dorji, 36, from Nganglam in Pemagatshel.

Bumdeling-Jamkhar Constituency, Trashiyangtse will have Lobzang Tenzin, 57, as the party candidate. Nima Tshering, 39, will contest from Sipsu Constituency in Samtse.

Norbu Wangchuk, 44, will stand as the Party’s candidate from Samkhar-Udzorong-Kanglung Constituency in Trashigang and Pelzang Wangchuk, 55, from Jomotshangkha-Martshala Constituency Samdrup Jongkhar

Mani K. Pradhan, 55, will contest from Ugyentse-Yoeseltse Constituency in Samtse.
