The Australia Bhutan Association of Canberra (ABAC) in Australia participated in the annual three day National Multicultural Festival in Canberra.
Held, every year, the festival includes food and performances from Canberra’s diverse cultural and ethnic community. More than 100 countries participated in the event.

The ABAC and the Bhutanese community in Canberra set up a stall with Bhutanese food and handicrafts, and performed songs and dances during the event.
The President of the Association, Ugyen Namgay said that besides advocating Bhutan, the group was able to share travel-related information about the country. He added that this would make more Australian tourists visit Bhutan in 2013.
