A week-long grassroots tennis course for children between 8 and 10 years is underway at the Samtse Teacher Training College. At least 90 children are attending the week-long basic tennis course. Some participants said they were already thinking of becoming professional players in the future. The course has been organised by the Bhutan Olympic Committee.
