The Bhutanese Ambassador to Japan V. Namgyel and Takeshi Yagi, the Ambassador of Japan to Bhutan signed the Exchange of Notes yesterday.
The government of Japan is providing a grant assistance of over 160 million yen for the Food Security Project for Underprivileged Farmers KR II 2012, the rehabilitation of Takli irrigation system in Sarpang and for the supply of tracked excavator for Waste Management in Thimphu City.
Japan has been granting assistance to Bhutan in many areas, particularly in the field of agriculture.
