The eight member delegation comprising of German parliamentarians called on the Prime Minister Jigmi Y. Thinley, yesterday. They arrived in the country on Sunday. They are here to promote parliamentary exchange programmes and to see how democracy is faring in Bhutan.
The delegation also called on the Minster-in-charge for foreign affairs Khandu Wangchuk. They also met the National Assembly Speaker,Jigme Tshultim and the Chairperson of the National Council Namgay Penjore.
The team will leave for Bangladesh tomorrow.
