The Party President said DCT will work towards promoting unity, prosperity and happiness.

One of the main priorities of the Party, she said, will be taking GNH to grassroots level. Addressing youth and social issues will be another priority according to the Party President.

Lily Wanggchuk also said DCT shall not glorify what it does. “We on contrary expect fellow political parties also to make a habit of serving others and not seeking applause for it.”

DCT has seven working committees including candidate selection, women and youth and research development.

The party will now be finalizing their 47 candidates against the certain criteria.   Some of the criteria formed by the party include clean record, committed and acceptance of the Party’s ideologies.
