Bhutan establishes diplomatic relations with Poland

Bhutan has established diplomatic relations with Poland.

The Joint communiqué on the establishment of the relations was signed yesterday at the permanent Mission of Poland in New York.

The two sides were represented by their respective Ambassadors and permanent representatives to the United Nations.

The Ambassadors expressed interest to cooperate closely in the bilateral and multilateral fields. They also expressed desire to further deepen the present level of cooperation between the two countries at the United Nations and at other multilateral forums.

Bhutan now has established diplomatic relations with 48 countries.
