Ambassadors of Korea and Thailand present their credentials

The ambassadors of the Republic of Korea and Thailand presented their credentials to His Majesty the King today.

The ambassador of Republic of Korea Kim Joong Keun and the ambassador of Thailand Tasanawadee Miancharoen were received in a traditional chipdrel ceremony.

They were then ushered into the throne room where they presented their credentials to His Majesty the King.

The Korean ambassador Kim Joong-Keun joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1978. In a career spanning more than three decades he served in various posts in the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He also served as the Deputy Minister for trade under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Currently, the Korean ambassador to Bhutan is also serving as an adjunct professor in Diplomacy at the Korea University.

The Thai ambassador joined the foreign ministry in 1977. In a career spanning over three decades, Ambassador Tasanawadee Miancharoen served in various posts in the Foreign Ministry. She also served as the Deputy Secretary General in the office of the Prime Minister.

She was also the Deputy Director General in the Economics Department. Prior to her current appointment she was serving as the Minster in the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, Korea.

They were also granted an audience by His Majesty the King.
