The Roar of the Thunder Dragon, a book on the events that have shaped the rights of a nation to exist as a sovereign entity, was launched today.
The 256 pages book, authored by Lyonpo Om Pradhan, tells about how a nation was born and its fight for survival with rare insights into the south, the east and external relationships.
The book also has a store of information on some of the treaties, proclamations and submissions, that were never been published before.
The Author, who has served for over a three decade with the royal government in his various capacities, captures in totality the history of Bhutan and Bhutanese rights of sovereign state.
