Youth as the agent of change

To bring positive changes in youth who are at risk, the second phase of Police and Out of School Youth Partnership programme began in the capital from today. The programme intends to involve the youth to assist the police to prevent and reduce crimes in future.

A total of 20 out of school youth are participating in the 15 days programme. They will be sensitised on the relevant legal provisions. The youth will also engage as an agent of change to reach out to other youth, who are at risk, to address youth crimes and reduce juvenile delinquency.

The programme is funded by UNICEF with support from National Commission for Women and Children.

Similar programme also began in Paro from today.
