ACC and Institute of Mind sign MoU to fight corruption

In a move aimed at enhancing cooperation and collaboration to prevent and combat corruption, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Mind of the Zhung Dratshang today.

The MoU is expected to increase the level of the reach of anti-corruption awareness programs through the voice of the Institute of Mind.

The institute will play a key role in instilling a sense of intolerance for corruption by advocating on social harm or dangers of corruption.

The complaints received by ACC reveal that almost fifty per cent are administrative in nature, indicating a need to build a resilient system of integrity.

There is a need to bring a shift in the attitude and behaviour of the people to promote transparency, accountability and integrity.

The MoU will, therefore, further strengthen partnership between the two parties in bringing positive behavioural change and building awakened citizenry through awareness programs, hence encouraging zero tolerance to corruption.
