Bhutan failed to advance to the finals of the SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship after losing to the defending champions Bangladesh 0-5 yesterday.
The Bhutanese team conceded the first goal in the 18th minute of the game. Despite the Bhutanese girls trying hard, they conceded four more goals.
In the other semi-final match, India defeated Nepal 2-1.
Like the SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship last year, Bangladesh and India will now play the finals tomorrow.
Bhutan will play against Nepal for the third position.
